Thursday Painting Workshops
An intensive oil painting course with a relaxing theme!
Learn to paint amazing, realistic clouds–and the ocean! This intensive course is designed for the artist with some painting experience, but any level of experience is welcome. The participants will develop the skill to paint alla prima with oils. The instructor will give pointers on laying out and mixing the oil palette. The student will learn the properties of various pigments, become more aware of the overall composition of lines and values, and even learn to use brush strokes in a more expressive way. Limited to 3 students to insure individual attention!
Time: 10:30 – 1:30pm (with a snack break)
Cost: $65 /session (+$10 for supplies included)

A Creative Getaway to Portugal
In September 2027 Beth will be offering an Artists’ Getaway in Portugal. We will spend 12 days in a lovely villa near Setubal, Portugal, taking a few day trips to see the sights and spending many days leisurely painting. Come with us and soak up the culture and exult in the gorgeous landscapes and seashore of Portugal!
But it’s not just for artists! It’s for anyone who wishes to enjoy a laid-back retreat in Portugal. You can either sip wine and watch others paint, or we can arrange an outing in the surrounding areas for you!
